How it works

From stored energy to swimming behavior.

OceanMotion Lab products teach motion through a visible chain: assemble the body, store energy or provide actuation, transform that input through mechanism, and observe how the system behaves in water.

Learning sequence

Each product level adds one capability layer.

L0 shows motion mechanically; L1 adds sensing and feedback; L2 adds payload-ready robotics; L3 will add depth control.

Build the body

Assemble structure, shell and tail components into a coherent swimmer.

Store or provide energy

Use an elastic system or a more advanced actuation setup depending on the product.

Transform motion

Mechanisms such as the crank-rocker convert input into tail movement.

Observe in water

Watch how morphology, balance and oscillation affect behavior.

Roadmap note: Current robotic fish pages focus on swimming, sensing and embodied learning near the surface. A fish capable of active diving and surfacing will be introduced soon.
